The glass coating layer formed by SENSHA Glass Coating provides the intense deep glossy look like your car is wet. Its ultimately luxurious and expensive look captivates anyone who sees a glass-coated car and makes them like they want to touch it unconsciously.

Water repellent effect of SENSHA Glass Coating allows water, rainwater or the like falling on the glass coating layer surface to form water droplets and slip off on the surface quickly. This is a very satisfying looking and your car stands out even when driving in rainy days.

SENSHA Glass Coating layer avoids dirt and dusts from easily attaching on it. The glass coating layer is extremely hard (above 9H hardness) and its surface is quite smooth so that an adhesion of dirt and dusts is significantly weakened to enable easy and quick car wash.

Chemicals such as acidic fluids, bird droppings and dead bugs do not penetrate or damage SENSHA Glass Coating layer. Also, the glass coating works as a barrier against the sun (UV) which prevents oxidization and deterioration of clear coat and paint layers causing colour fading.

The adhesion of SENSHA Glass Coating layer is extremely high, and oxidization or deterioration does not occur. Plus, the glass coating layer is chemical resistant and quite tough (above 9H hardness) so that there is no need to worry about peeling off or cracking by such as steppingstones.

How Glass Coating Layer is established

SENSHA Glass Coating is the leading-edge car coating technology to form the pure and inorganic glass coating layer on your car. Glass Coating is totally different compared to car wax and polymer in terms of their main ingredient:

・Car wax and polymer use an oil component as the main ingredient
・Glass Coating uses the glass component, Silicon (chemical formula: Si), as the main ingredient.

A pure glass is made of Silicon Dioxide (chemical formula: SiO2) (Si: silicon) (O2: oxygen) and is also called quarts glass which is composed of high-purity silicon dioxide and contains a very low amount of impurities such as metals. When you apply SENSHA Glass Coating liquid on your car, the liquid makes a contact with the air. Then, its main ingredient, silicon, will start bonding to oxygen, and curing to form silicon dioxide. We use this chemical reaction to form the glass coating layer on your car.

Of course the bonding and curing occur at normal temperature, you do not need a special equipment.

The Gloss

SENSHA Glass Coating layer is formed with the car industry highest amount level of silicon dioxide (SiO2), 83%. Therefore, the glass coating layer is pure, inorganic and fully transparent to provide the intense deep gloss like your car is wet.

SENSHA Glass Coating is applied with dedicated coating sponge and cloth. An airgun cannot be used for SENSHA Glass Coating application because it will be clogged by the chemical reaction (bonding and curing) occurring in the airgun. If you find products using an airgun to apply, these products have less glass component so that their gloss, protection and durability are also less.

SENSHA Glass Coating

SENSHA Glass Coating layer does not oxidize or deteriorate so it provides its features for a long time. Plus, the glass coating layer provides an antifouling effect as the layer is extremely hard and its surface is quite smooth so that an adhesion of dirt and dusts is significantly weakened on it.

Car Wax and Polymer

Car wax and polymer are made of oil components so that this coating layer oxidizes and deteriorates. Once these happened, its gloss is lost and dirt eats into the bad-condition oil layer to remain as water scale and dirt. Car wax and polymer cannot provide their features for long.

Maintenance Glass Coating

If you are already happy with the qualities of Crystal Glow, Wheel Crystal, Bumper Crystal and Metal Plating Crystal, you do not require a maintenance glass coating. However, if you would like to have even stronger gloss, protections and water repellent effect, use Fine Crystal on a glass-coated car during car wash once a month as a maintenance glass coating.

Curing Type Glass Coating

Crystal Glow, Wheel Crystal, Bumper Crystal and Metal Plating Crystal are curing type glass coating that the glass coating layer is established by the glass coating liquid being cured on car parts when it makes a contact with the air. This glass coating type is applied with dedicated coating sponge and cloth.

Adhesion Type Glass Coating

Fine Crystal, adhesion type Glass Coating, establishes the glass coating layer by the glass coating liquid strongly adhering to car parts. Fine Crystal contains as much as the similar ingredients of the curing type glass coating to form the glass coating layer even more easily. It is a spray type.

Curing Type + Adhesion Type

The combination of curing type and adhesion type glass coating layers provides even stronger gloss, protections and water repellent effect. The adhesion of the glass coating layer by Fine Crystal is extremely high as well, so use it once a month to maintain the additional glass coating layer.
